Inside Longleat returns!

Inside Longleat returns for another series revealing what happens at the Estate throughout the year.

The series is back for an eight-episode run starting on Tuesday 21 July at 8pm on 5.

Filming took place over a 10-month period to capture life on the Estate and the people essential day-to-day operations, including Cheddar Gorge & Caves, our sister attraction owned by the Estate.

Simon Askew, Chief Operating Officer, said “We’re incredibly excited to give viewers the chance to see behind the scenes once again and to celebrate the success of the programme so far. From a one-off episode in 2023, a three-part series in 2025 to eight episodes now is an incredible feat.

“Viewers will see inside some of our events, as well as how much there truly is to Longleat beyond the animals and house.”

The first episode focuses on the 60^th anniversary of the Drive-Through Safari and how we have evolved into what guests see today. Throughout the series, viewers will see the transformation of The Farmhouse, one of our luxury accommodation cottages, follow new Head Gardener Lucy, and discover the truth about previously unseen prehistoric bones at Cheddar Gorge.
