We're getting into the spirit for the upcoming Wimbledon singles’ finals this weekend.

Our group of rhesus macaques and group of ring-tailed lemurs have been enjoying the traditional snack of the tournament, strawberries.

In photographs by Tom Anders, Longleat’s Content Creator, both groups can be seen tucking into the sweet fruit as an enrichment treat.

Ian Turner, Senior Keeper, said “With both Men's and Women's Singles finals this weekend, we wanted to treat our lemurs and monkeys in the spirit of the tournament.

“While both species do eat fruit, we limit how often they are given it due to the natural sugars.”
