Victorian Kitchen ShopVictorian Kitchen Shop

As its name implies, the shop is located in the former kitchens. It’s crammed with kitchen paraphernalia such as the family copper. Look around to see where the meat was cured, where the water was heated and how the jelly was set!

There are lots of delicious jams and biscuits, sweets and chocolates along with some stylish crockery and kitchen equipment.

For information on special demonstrations and promotions or to enquire about any items in the shops please contact Barbara Savage on 01985 845402 or barbara.savage@longleat.co.uk

Gifts and Treasures

Gifts and Treasures

Situated in the original stable courtyard of Longleat House and alongside Family Bygones and Life and Times of Henry, Lord Bath, this Gift Shop still holds many of the original stable features as designed by Sir Jeffry Wyattville in the early 19th century.

There are five stalls in total each with a different theme…

  • Stall 1: the ‘wooly’ section with sheepskin slippers, rugs and Aran jumpers.
  • Stall 2: Books and Executive Toys
  • Stall 3: is for girls
  • Stall 4: is for boys
  • Stall 5: Home and Garden

Come and visit this quiet courtyard and shop for some unusual and interesting gifts.
