Safari Boats

Siberian tigerThe two new Safari Boats – the ‘Lady Bath’ and the ‘Lady Lenka’ will be officially launched in the next couple of weeks. Offering over double the capacity of the previous Safari Boats and fully accessible to all visitors (although we still request that pushchairs are left on the quay) these new boats are already ‘wowing’ visitors to Longleat!

But that’s not all!… the new boats are providing a ‘wow’ to our colony of eight Californian sea lions too! Jumping and splashing alongside as they chase down that last bit of thrown fish, the sea lions are obviously delighted that we are now open for the 2007 season!

Video Podcast

Longleat is launching into the world of Video Podcasting with the first episode due for release in early April 2007.

Featuring a ‘behind the scenes’ look as staff and animals prepare for opening – hedge cutting, sea lion feeding, mucking out of rhinos and more - this magical insight into Longleat will hopefully become a regular feature of the website throughout the 2007 season!
