Chris Evans of Radio 2 fame kicked off his four day Children in Need extravaganza with a live broadcast of the Breakfast Show from his home.
Last November, seven generous souls (and their co-drivers) donated nearly £250,000 to the charity, in exchange for the ride of their lives in seven magnificent Ferrari's. The intrepid travellers set off in convoy from chez Evans with first stop, Longleat House!
Lord Bath and a fair number of fans were there to meet them!
Jo Sparrow, Marketing Manager, confirmed: “As you might imagine we have had vehicles of all shapes and sizes coming down to Longleat over the years. To see seven Ferrari’s roaring down the main drive though was quite a sight!
“We had a good gathering of visitors to meet the intrepid crew and even Lord Bath’s newest acquisition, a 14-week old Labradoodle joined the party!
“It is fabulous to see the great work that is being done on behalf of BBC Children in Need and we’re delighted to be playing a part however small”.
