Deputy Sales Manager

Longleat Enterprises Ltd incorporates Longleat Safari & Adventure Park, Longleat House, Cheddar Gorge and Longleat Hotels. This is an exciting time for the business – under the direction of the new CEO and Marketing Director, the Group Sales team are working to a refreshed strategy with additional resources and initiatives to help drive sales. We are looking for a Deputy Sales Manager to join our dynamic and ambitious team on a permanent basis. This is a crucial hire for us at a time when Group Sales are growing and product is evolving rapidly.

Reporting in to the Sales Manager, the role will be responsible for identifying business sectors in which to promote our products together with the development of an accurate and up to date customer prospect database from which introductory and follow-up consultative sales calls can be made resulting in conversion to new clients and enhancing revenue.  You will achieve agreed KPIs and targets by proactively selling the product offerings always aiming to exceed customer expectations.

With excellent sales and presentation skills, the successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ demonstrable sales experience in business development/group sales in a similar environment. A persuasive and influential character you will possess excellent communication skills and proven ability to build rapport with client prospects and deliver solutions to client requirements. Experience of managing a small team will be beneficial.

Costa Coffee Assistant Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Costa Store based at Longleat. As Assistant Manager you'll be passionate about customer service, love great coffee and be almost fanatical about driving the store forwards.

You will guide and develop your team to serve the best in food and drinks and as Assistant Manager, stock control and day-to-day management will also be part of your remit.

Your skills will be invaluable to your Store Manager; a strong focus on sales will help them to grow the business, while your experience ideally from a hospitality or retail background - will help to recruit the right people for the team.

What we will be looking for in you:

For the role of Assistant Manager, we are looking for a leader and role model, someone with customer service experience who is used to working as part of a team.

With a natural enthusiasm for the task in hand, you will be able to share this zeal with the team and motivate them to higher standards.

You will have worked in a fast paced environment and have previous supervisory / management experience.

You will be Barista Maestro accredited or equivalent qualification.

Guest Services Supervisor

We are looking for a dynamic Guest Services Supervisor to lead a passionate Guest Services team. You will be responsible for creating and delivering first class service delivery for visitors at this brilliant venue with significant footfall.

You will have a strong operational background, used to leading teams of customer service staff. This could be in leisure, hospitality, sport and entertainment, hotel, retail customer Services environment or well aligned sectors such as Customer Service Call centres in the travel or banking Industries. With a solid grounding in the delivery of excellent customer service you will be used to delivering enhanced customer service and complaint resolution (Face to face, phone and e-mail).

This position is on a permanent contract working 5 days out of 7 based on 39 hours a week. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business and shifts will include weekends, early evenings and bank holidays.

Food & Beverage Team Members

We are looking for a person who can deliver at all times an efficient, cheerful and couteous service whilst at the same time ensuring every effort is made to maximize sales. Working in one of our many catering outlets you will have the ability to work as part of a team as well as having a passion for serving others. Working full time hours 5 days out of 7 with immediate effect through to January 2015.

We have full time fixed term and casual contracts available with hours driven by business needs – weekend and bank holiday working essential.

 Retail Assistants

We are looking for applicants for our many retail outlets dotted around the park. You will be required to serve visitors at till points, replenish stock levels and deliver excellent customer service. Previous experience would be preferable although full training will be given to the right candidate.

Safari Bus Driver

As part of a flexible team, to provide a service driving our Safari Bus for visitors, ensuring customer satisfaction through commentaries and excellent service. A positive attitude and being able to work in a team as well as excellent communication skills are a prerequisite for this position. A PSV bus driver with a with a clean CPC license will be required for this position.

This position is on a fixed term, part time contract you will need a flexible approach to work hour’s essential due to the nature of our business until January 2015. You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays due to the nature of the business.

Spa Therapist

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Spa Therapist to join an established team within this luxury spa. You will be responsible for offering high end treatments and have the ability to sell retail products. Ensuring high standards at all times and report directly to the Head Therapist or Spa Manager. Waiting Staff

We are currently seeking experienced waiting staff for our Mulberry restaurant which offers two dining experiences, either our A La Carte menu for those wishing to experience our imaginative and creative dishes or relax in the Mulberry conservatory with our more informal All Day Dining Menu.  As an experienced waiter you would ensure that guests are provided with drinks and food when requested and offered these when appropriate in an effort to maximise sales.
