Human Resources Manager

Costa Coffee Store Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Costa Store based at Longleat. As Store Manager you'll be passionate about customer service, love great coffee and be almost fanatical about driving the store forwards.

Guiding and developing your team to serve the best in food and drinks, as Store Manager you’ll also efficiently handle the administrative side of your business, including stock management, cost control and profit and loss accounts.

What we will be looking for in you:

Costa Coffee Assistant Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Costa Store based at Longleat. As Assistant Manager you'll be passionate about customer service, love great coffee and be almost fanatical about driving the store forwards.

You will guide and develop your team to serve the best in food and drinks and as Assistant Manager, stock control and day-to-day management will also be part of your remit.

Yard Foreman - Forestry

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yard Foreman to join our developing team within Forestry Department. Reporting to the Head Forester, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Forestry Firewood Yard.

You will oversee the safe working practices in relation to firewood production, deliveries, weighbridge operations, the maintenance and repair of all vehicles, plant and machinery as well as ensuring and developing safe working for staff and customers.

As a commercial operation you will also support and assist in yard sales, including till work, and providing the highest standards in customer service.

This is a physically demanding role that requires a hardworking, committed, safety conscious forestry worker who has a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a supervisory role, with a HND in Forestry Management or equivalent and qualified in use of chainsaws, driving tractors, telehandlers and associated Forestry equipment preferable.

Estate Ranger

A permanent position has opened up in our Grounds and Garden department for an Estate Ranger who will be responsible for the cleansing of the park, buildings and open spaces. You would have primary responsibility for the sewage works and waste compactor. A full driving licence and a forklift or handler qualification essential, with a recognised work related qualification desired.

This is a permanent, annualised contract working 5 days out of 7 which will include weekends and bank holidays on a regular basis with the opportunity to work reduced hours in the winter months. Flexible approach to work hour’s essential due to the nature of our business.

Gardener - Borders

A permanent position has opened up in our Grounds and Garden department for a Gardener to work in our formal gardens, private gardens and attractions areas either independently or as part of a small team maintaining shrubs, roses and herbaceous borders A professional horticultural qualification along with PA1 PA6A pesticides certificate preferred.

This is a permanent position working an annualised contract of 24hrs per week which can be worked on a flexible basis as long as the minimum number of hours are covered which may include weekends and bank holidays.

Guest Services Advisor

Longleat Safari and Adventure Park are looking for Guest Services Advisors who are able to deliver excellent front-line customer service support, to ensure that the customers are happy and content, and to be a fully integrated member of our busy customer services team. A positive attitude and being able to work in a team as well as excellent communication skills and a clear telephone manner are essential for this role. This position would be an immediate start on a fixed term zero hour contract with a flexible approach to work hour’s essential due to the nature of our business until January 2015. Groundsman

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in our Grounds and Gardens department working alongside the Senior Groundsman as well as the Grounds team for the upkeep of Longleat grounds including park trees, grasslands and lawns. You would undertake a range of tasks including spraying and both tree surgery and surveys.

Formal Horticultural qualifications will be require with PA1, PA6aw pesticides certificates and CS 30-32 chainsaw certificates  and a full clean driving license are essential with LANTRA or NPTC awards advantageous.

This is a fixed term post working an average of 39 hours a week 5 days out of 7 which will include weekend and bank holiday working.

Night Porter

Longleat Bath Arms Hotel and Restaurant based in Horningsham is looking for a part time Night Porter to work 2 nights a week but to also be flexible to cover sickness and holidays.  The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient portering service to the guests, visitors and colleagues. Duties to include the check in of late arrivals, guest food & beverage service during the night escorting guests and luggage to their rooms and overseeing all guest requests in terms of service, delivery and complaints. There would be a requirement to set-up function rooms on occasion and adhere to all relevant Health & Safety policies with regards to fire prevention.

Spa Night Cleaner

The halcyon spa at Bishopstrow House  are in the need of a Spa Night Cleaner to provide a warm greeting to all spa members and to maintain the established benchmark of excellence throughout the spa facilities. Part Time Receptionist

Homewood Park Country House Hotel & Spa are looking for a well presented individual with good organisational skills to join its reception team. This individual will be a motivated and enthusiastic person with high levels of customer service and good communication skills.
