Great Hall

The magnificent Elizabethan Great Hall is the perfect setting for the grandest of functions. Unchanged since Elizabeth I visited Longleat in 1574, the Hall still displays its original Elizabethan characteristics with a Minstrels Gallery, stone flagged floor, wooden panelling, carved stone fireplace and even a Tudor shuffleboard… a 33ft table designed for the game of shove-halfpenny.
