East Corridor

At the beginning of the 1800’s the second Marquess of Bath commissioned the fashionable architect, Sir Jeffery Wyatville, to ‘modernise’ Longleat House. This included the introduction of a series of corridors (including the East Corridor) and the resplendent Grand Staircase.

The East Corridor provides the ideal setting for drinks receptions. Please note that hire of the East Corridor is only available in conjunction with hire of the Great Hall and/or Green Library.
