Feeding the deer is one of the most popular activities at Longleat Safari & Adventure Park and now there’s a brand new special on-foot deer feeding experience. At Deer Valley all the family can get right up close to our herd of friendly fallow deer. You’ll be astounded at how they take food straight from your hand.
Remember to bring your camera! It’s a moment you’ll want to capture forever.
Need To Know
- A surcharge will apply for animal feed at Deer Valley
- Deer are the only animals in the world to have antlers. Other animals have horns. What’s the difference?… antlers can be shed, horns can’t!
- Fallow deer have been on the Longleat Estate since the 16th century, contained by deer fencing which the builder of Longleat House, John Thynne, first had erected in 1540.
